DÆR-08 Privacy Notice

1. Introduction

This Privacy Notice explains how Sunloft Studio LLC (“Sunloft Studio”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the DÆR-08 mobile application (“App”).

DÆR-08 is designed with a privacy-first architecture. The App does not require user accounts and does not transmit personal information to Sunloft Studio servers.

All information you record in the App remains stored locally on your device, under your control.

This Privacy Notice explains:

what information exists when you use the App
where that information is stored
whether information leaves your device
how you can export or delete your information
how third-party services (such as Apple App Store payments) may apply

If you do not agree with this Privacy Notice, please do not use the App.

2. Who We Are

DÆR-08 is developed and operated by:

Throughout this Privacy Notice, we refer to Sunloft Studio as “Sunloft Studio”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our.”

3. Information Created When You Use the App

When you use DÆR-08, you may choose to record personal information related to your menstrual cycle and emotional state.

Examples of information that may be stored within the App include:

menstrual cycle dates
period start and end entries
mood entries
calculated cycle statistics
visual summaries and charts generated by the App

This information is entered by you voluntarily and exists solely to provide the App’s features.

Sunloft Studio does not receive, collect, or store this information.

4. Where Your Information Is Stored

All information created in DÆR-08 is stored locally on your device.

This information is not transmitted to Sunloft Studio servers.

The App does not upload user data to cloud services.

Unless you choose to export your data yourself, the information recorded in the App remains entirely on your device.

Sunloft Studio cannot view, access, retrieve, or modify your information.

5. Whether Information Leaves Your Device

DÆR-08 is designed so that personal information does not leave your device.

Specifically:

the App does not send user data to Sunloft Studio servers
the App does not transmit cycle or mood information to third parties
the App does not use advertising networks
the App does not use analytics services
the App does not include marketing trackers or advertising identifiers

Your personal information remains private to your device unless you choose to export it yourself.

6. Data Export, Import, and Deletion

Because information remains on your device, you have full control over it.

The App allows you to:

export your data
import data
edit past entries
delete your information

You may delete all App data at any time from within the App.

If you delete the App from your device, information stored by the App may also be deleted depending on your device settings.

Because Sunloft Studio does not store your information, we cannot restore deleted data.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features of the App may require a subscription.

All subscription payments are handled through Apple’s App Store payment system and are associated with your Apple ID.

Sunloft Studio does not receive or store payment information.

Apple may process certain personal information as part of payment processing.
Please review Apple’s privacy policy for details on how Apple handles such information.

8. Advertising and Analytics

DÆR-08 does not include advertising technologies.

The App does not use:

advertising SDKs
analytics SDKs
marketing trackers
cross-app tracking technologies

Sunloft Studio does not profile users or track behavior for advertising purposes.

9. Children’s Privacy

DÆR-08 is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older.

The App is not designed for children.

Sunloft Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided information in violation of this policy, we will take appropriate steps to address the situation.

10. International Users and Privacy Rights

Users may access DÆR-08 from different countries.

Because personal information remains on your device and is not processed by Sunloft Studio servers, Sunloft Studio does not transfer personal data across international borders.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as:

the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
other regional privacy regulations

These rights may include the ability to access, correct, delete, or export your data.

Because DÆR-08 stores information locally on your device, you can exercise these rights directly through the App by exporting or deleting your data.

11. Data Security

The security of information stored in DÆR-08 depends largely on the security of your device.

We recommend protecting your device with:

a device passcode
biometric authentication
up-to-date operating system security updates

Because Sunloft Studio does not maintain centralized user data storage, there is no centralized database of user health information maintained by the Company.

12. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Privacy Notice periodically.

When updates are made, the “Last Updated” date will be revised.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Notice.
